Updates and Corrections

Goodies for Windows XP

It seems that one set of problems occurs for people using Windows XP because I had thought that XP can handle Macintosh file names. However this doesn't seem to be the case so if you are using Windows XP load the Goodies from the Goodies (Windows 2000) folder on the companion CD, NOT from the Goodies (WindowsXP) folder.

Loading the Extra Brushes from the Companion Resource CD

The following brushes do not work:

Jeremy Faves category : Sargent brush variant (same as variant by same name in Artists category - use that one instead)

Creativity Brushes library : Thick & Thin Pencil, Impasto Extra, Depth Color Eraser. These variants all seem to have problems.

Color Sets

In Windows (including XP) you need to add .TXT to end of color set file name, as well as make sure Read Only property is unchecked. Or download them here...

Papers

It appears there is a problem with the papers libraries on the CD. I have put two download links here, one for Mac, one for PC, to help. Each link will download a StuffIt compressed folder containing the four custom Papers libraries found on the Companion CD

Papers-for-mac.sit

Papers-for-PC.zip

Patterns

On a PC the Pattern Taster file will need .PTL added at the end.
