Talks & Interviews
Download the webcast of a talk I gave at the Oxford Internet institute, Oxford University, in June 2007, titled "A Tale of Two Portraits: From Crayon to Computer".
Please tune in to my interview on PhotoTalkRadio.com that was recorded on August 13th, 2005. During the interview I discuss my approach to making art using digital tools, describe how I set up my tablet for optimum workflow and comfort, and review some of my techniques for creating portraits. My next interview with Phototalk Radio will be on Saturday, August 18th, 2007, 9 - 10am PCT.
You can hear an earlier interview I did with Scott Shepphard at the Inside Mac radio program on October 16th, 2004, in which I discuss my art and Painter IX and during which I painted a portrait of Scott. I ran a contest for people who listened to the show. The winners are:
Tim Zulewski, Bloomfield Hills, MI who won a free copy of Painter IX (courtesy of Corel); Ethan Ledden, Portland, NY, and Bill Soan, Crayford, Kent, UK, both of whom won a signed print of my artwork. Congratulations to Tim, Ethan and Bill and thank you to everyone else who entered
