Tranquillity

This portrait was created from life as a demonstration during a Painter workshop in Sao Paulo, Brasil. The model, Emerson, was one of my students (in fact he was the first student of mine to take over the dance warm-up during a Painter workshop!) This portrait seems to have the spirit of tranquility and hence the title. The artwork was created freehand directly on a Windows PC (yes, that's right, I do sometimes work on PC, though I prefer Mac), using a Wacom ArtZ graphics tablet & pressure sensitive stylus, and MetaCreations Painter 5.0 software.
